Description
A little holiday gift for the ever so wonderful Astralseed 
This is her Nordanner gelding 096 - ASS Valor.
He was a ton of fun to paint, especially because purple is also one of my favourite colours! 
The forelock might just look a little weird because I messed it up at some point and tried saving it with watercolour pencils. Also, I don't think I painted the speckles along his back that well. 
Still, I tried my best, and I'm especially happy that I managed to give him a 'war horse' kind of look, since I thought it would capture his personality perfectly.

When I read your wishlist, I immediately knew what I was going to do... but didn't mention anything because I wanted to make it a surprise. 
Mixed media (watercolour + watercolour pencils) on watercolour paper. 7x9" 1/2 (18x24 cm)
