My part of a second art trade with Paintwick. 
Well, kind of. She had to paint a second piece because the first painting took months to arrive to me, and we were both thinking it was lost. But when it finally did arrive (shortly after her second painting did, for some reason), I was happy to also paint something else for her. Since the Shetland is her favourite breed, I painted another Shetland pony.
The landscape's sort of an accident; I intended the background to be simpler than this, but got carried away.
The grass annoyed me, as I first overdid it, then dissolved it, and finally painted it again after finishing the pony. I don't know, I think I did a much better job painting the grass in After the rain than here. 
And the scanner killed the colours, again.
