-Italy, summer 2009
Back when I was living in Italy, I only twice took a riding lesson. In fact, I always went trekking and that's how I mainly learned how to ride. Pasqualina was my mom's favourite trek-horse. A Thoroughbred (she's real tall), Pasqualina is a true sweetie, but her breed gives her the pepper character and an "18-till-I-die" attitude.
She's growing old now and I don't think she's working as much as she used to (she's probably even retired), but she's a horse one would never forget.
